When a San Diego Plastic Surgeon Has Plastic Surgery Part III
It’s been almost 2 ½ months since my upper and lower eyelid surgery. I’m virtually healed — just doing a little scar therapy at my laugh lines. Bottom line — it’s the best thing I have done for myself since my rhinoplasty 30 years ago. I look so fresh and alert. The hazel color of my eyes is back. I can see the “young Yale” in the mirror and pictures. My self-esteem and self-confidence are really boosted.
Since having surgery, and going through my own post-op experiences, my patients are benefitting as well. I make sure to give them throat lozenges in case of sore throat, and anti-nausea pills in case their tummies are queasy after surgery or with pain pills. I also make sure not to give my patients medicine that gives them dry mouth. Lastly, I prescribe Ambien to help them get a good night’s sleep.
Having plastic surgery on myself was the ultimate win/win situation for me and my lucky patients.
From my H-art,
Yale M Kadesky, MD
